From Our President & CEO
The past year has tested us all—a global pandemic, racial injustice, economic hardship and political turmoil. Yet despite the stress and disruptions of 2020, Rochester RHIO stood tall to deliver on our mission. Thanks to the dedication of our employees, stakeholders and participants, we built even stronger health data collaborations and infrastructure across our 14-county region.
I invite you to read the stories below and watch our animated video to learn how we helped public health officials track and manage the spread of COVID-19. Understand why we supported our community’s declaration of racism as a health crisis, and committed to improve how we operate. Even with hope on the horizon, we know the months ahead are going to keep presenting incredible challenges. Yet I am also confident that the Greater Finger Lakes Region is well-prepared to face these with compassion, intelligence, resolve, and a proven health data ecosystem—a combination few other parts of the nation can match.
For more than a decade, RHIO has strived every day to earn the community’s trust. We are enthusiastic about doing the same in 2021, working alongside all of you.
