Orleans County—Oak Orchard Health

 

Oak Orchard Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers medical, dental, optical and behavioral health services in Western New York, including Orleans County. Its staff use Rochester RHIO to obtain patient lab and electronic lab results, hospital reports and patient alerts. Patient information is delivered directly into Oak Orchard’s electronic health record.

 

“RHIO is very helpful to us,” Jamie Dauphinee, manager of health information. “Not having access to RHIO would cause a huge increase to our workload, making us check multiple data sources individually for patient info.”

 

Dauphinee explained that sometimes when new patients comes in, Oak Orchard doesn’t have their clinical information on file. “It’s easy for us to get records for first-time patients through RHIO. With a few clicks, we gain immediate access to essential data to care for our patients.”
